The Future is Electric: How to Eliminate Fossil Fuels from your Home

Online

Zoom Webinar (Register below for link)

The next frontier in energy efficiency and home performance is electrification. Appliances that run on all-electric technologies such as heat pumps and induction are cleaner, safer, and higher-performing than their natural gas counterparts. Although these products have been popular in other parts of the world for decades, they are just now becoming widely available in California and there are huge incentives available for early adopters!

Join this webinar hosted by StopWaste and the Bay Area Regional Energy Network (BayREN) to learn about what sets these products apart, whether or not they are right for your home, and how to take advantage of various rebate and incentive programs, including:

  • $1,000 rebate for heat pump heating and cooling systems
  • Up to $2,000 in rebates for heat pump water heaters
  • Up to $1,500 bonus rebate for combining a heat pump heating and cooling system with a building shell measure such as attic insulation or air sealing
  • $300 rebates for induction cooktops and heat pump clothes dryers
  • $300 federal tax credit for heat pump water heaters and HVAC systems
